Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Salah Khushu ("the app", "we") is operated by Nitin Deshmukh, contactable at admin@aarram.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account: phone number (for sign-in) and an optional display name.
- Usage: du'a sessions, streaks, salah check-ins, dhikr counts, and Quran reading progress, to power your dashboard.
- Location: used on-device to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Coordinates may be sent to a prayer-time API to retrieve times.
- Contacts (optional): if you enable the Ummah Circle, phone numbers are hashed with SHA-256 on your device; only hashes — never the raw numbers — are sent to find friends.
- Advertising & device identifiers: in the free, ad-supported version, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may process a device/advertising identifier to serve ads. With your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, this identifier may be used for personalized advertising and ad measurement. You can decline or change this in your device settings, or remove ads entirely with the optional Remove Ads purchase.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not transmit your raw contacts. Voice dhikr recognition runs on-device.
4. Third-party services
We use Firebase (authentication & push notifications), a prayer-time API, Google AdMob (advertising in the free version), and RevenueCat (to process the optional Remove Ads / Pro purchase — payment is handled by the App Store and we never see your card details). These providers process limited data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
5. Data retention & your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Subject to applicable law (including GDPR/CCPA where relevant), you may request access to or correction of your data.
6. Children
The app is intended for users 13 and older.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
